Major Findings of the Assessment First and foremost, the Assessment Team can report that its understanding of the planned activities for the next strategic program period suggests that: • There will be little likelihood of adverse environmental impacts on tropical forestry, biodiversity and water resources; and • Results in the area of wise use of water resources and in particular improved watershed management – a cross-cutting theme for the new strategy – will in the Salvadoran context lead to achievements related to tropical forest and biodiversity conservation.
