ABCG Wildlife User Rights Meeting Minutes
On 30 November 2000, the Africa Biodiversity Collaborative Group (ABCG) held a meeting on “Wildlife User Rights.” The meeting, organized by the World Resources Institute and chaired by the Biodiversity Support Program, provided an opportunity to review select wildlife user rights regulations in the broader context of natural resources management, and to discuss their implementation and impacts. The main focus was the relationship between states and communities. Published in 2003
