-       Amend or pass new legislation to strengthen wildlife trade enforcement, improve rates of apprehension and conviction, and compile statistical information on market value and uses of wildlife.

-       Raise “awareness of the importance of wildlife trade controls, and their value in achieving environmental goals” in part by training a core group of prosecutors and judges in wildlife crime.
