Webinar Recording: CWT Case Compilation Webinar with Mark Ssemakula and Kurt Duchez
In May 2018, E3/FAB released the CWT Case Compilation on enforcement and capacity building. In this webinar recorded on July 10th, 2018, two of the case study finalists discuss their work on international partnerships to combat wildlife crime. Mark Ssemakula (Stop Illegal Fishing) discussed the FISH-i network in East Africa to disrupt illegal fishing. Kurt Duchez (WCS Guatemala) spoke about the Mesa Technica partnership between Guatemala and Belize to build enforcement capacity in the region. Additionally, Megan Hill introduced a new resource summarizing literature findings around four key assumptions in CWT: Developing Enforcement Capacity.
