In 2022, GWP published a Guidance Note on the Lessons Learned and Good Practices in Strengthening National Inter-Agency Coordination to Combat Wildlife Trafficking. In this webinar, Monica Zavagli, Counter Wildlife Trafficking Specialist, and Salvatore Amato, GWP Senior Law Enforcement Advisor, share findings from the report across five key themes necessary for effective inter-agency coordination: membership, governance, communication, resources, and effectiveness. These findings are valuable lessons for USAID-funded activities aimed at combating wildlife crime through an interagency cooperation strategic approach.
