In this March 2nd, 2017 webinar, Juan Manuel de la Cruz (Checchi Consulting) presents the results of a recent project to strengthen the justice system in Petén, Guatemala. The project saw dramatic increases in environmental crime convictions and reductions in the number of cases that were dismissed. This event connects to the CWT Learning Group’s questions related to building enforcement to combat wildlife crime, especially, “What are good examples of systems, particularly judicial systems, which have made improvements in CWT enforcement?”
