Webinar Presentation: Getting the Most from your Pause & Reflect Events: Recent Experiences from USAID’s Marine & Freshwater Programs

Many of USAID’s biodiversity programs implement annual “Pause and Reflect” (PnR) events in the lead-up to their work plan development. These events require investments in staff time and other resources, so how can USAID and it’s implementing partners get the most of our PnR events?

During the May 20, 2021 interactive webinar, we heard about three approaches to PnR events recently implemented by USAID programs aiming to strengthen fisheries management in Senegal, Malawi, and the Philippines. Through discussions with participants and panelists, we unpacked key issues that influence the impact of PnR events related to integrating evidence, engaging stakeholders, and using results chains.
