Webinar: Setting up for Success: Enabling Conditions for Conservation Enterprises
This webinar from October 13th 2016 features a conversation with Judy Boshoven and Ashleigh Baker with Measuring Impact, and Robert Senkungu from the Environment Team of USAID Uganda, about setting up the enabling conditions for a successful conservation enterprise. Ashleigh and Judy presented the results of their analysis to identify enabling conditions summarized from existing documentation of over 40 conservation enterprise cases around the world, and Robert contextualized the analysis with an example from enterprises being implemented under the Uganda Biodiversity Program. In addition, the Measuring Impact team solicited feedback on a draft checklist that is intended to help those using conservation enterprise approaches to think through their theory of change and the enabling conditions needed to achieve desired outcomes towards biodiversity conservation.
