Webinar: Community Forest Management in Peru

Webinar: Community Forest Management in Peru
More than 400,000 indigenous people live in the Peruvian Amazon, many of whom live in vulnerable conditions due to a combination of extractive industries, ecosystem degradation, and a lack of indigenous-owned businesses. USAID Peru’s Alianza Forestal activity is tackling this issue by working with Nii Biiri, an indigenous-owned company in Ucayali, on community forest management. In this webinar, Alvaro Gaillour and Marioldy Sanchez share progress and lessons learned along Alianza Forestal’s theory of change.

The webinar presentation is also available to download.
