USAID/Mexico’s LandScale activity applies the LandScale Assessment Framework to evaluate and communicate landscape sustainability in the Sierra de Tapalpa landscape in the state of Jalisco. The activity promotes better management practices in production systems and catalyzes multi-stakeholder action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve landscape sustainability. This case study draws on interviews with private-sector actors, implementing partners, conservation organizations, and Mission staff, sharing lessons learned for activities engaging the private sector for environment outcomes.
