Gender mainstreaming in fisheries management: A training manual. The USAID/Ghana Sustainable Fisheries Management Project (SFMP)
This manual has been produce to assist the Sustainable Fisheries Management Project (SFMP) partners in Ghana as they work to mainstream gender into fisheries co-management. The manual has information on fisheries and value chains, SFMP gender strategy, tips to work with stakeholders to mainstream gender and also has suggestions of tools which can be used to help to implement a gender mainstreaming strategy. The manual is important because provide an example of how a fishery management project can guide partner to strengthen the gender mainstreaming work.
