Upcoming FCMC-supported webinars on land use under the UNFCCC
FCMC supported a series of four webinars on land use under the UNFCCC, hosted by the Green House Gas Management Institute.
The webinars were based on the guide Understanding Land Use in the UNFCCC.  The objective of the guide is to provide clear and concise explanations on how land use is reported and accounted for under the UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol in order to help negotiators, inventory compilers, project developers, reviewers and policy makers working in the field. The hosts of the webinar series will be two of the guide's authors, Marcelo T. Rocha and Peter Iversen.

The first webinar provided a high-level overview of the guide, and the remaining sessions dug deeper into the different topics. Recordings from the webinars are available here.

Recordings from each webinar are available here, along with the discussion forum for questions and answers. The Understanding Land Use in the UNFCCC guide is also available in Spanish and French and includes a summary for policy makers.
