Learn, Adapt, Repeat: Lessons from a Decade of Practicing Adaptive Management to Improve Biodiversity Conservation
After more than a decade of implementing adaptive management in biodiversity programs through the Measuring Impact and Measuring Impact 2 activities, USAID undertook a learning initiative to understand conservation practitioners’ perceptions of applying adaptive management practices and their influence on program effectiveness. This report synthesizes key findings and learning from interviews with USAID Biodiversity Division and Measuring Impact staff, implementing partners, and USAID Mission staff in Madagascar, Peru, and the Philippines.
