What is EndNote?
EndNote is a commercial reference management software package, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles. It is produced by Thomson Reuters. What is Zotero?
Zotero is free and open-source reference management software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials (such as PDFs). Notable features include web browser integration, online syncing, generation of in-text citations, footnotes and bibliographies, as well as integration with the word processors Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, OpenOffice.org Writer and NeoOffice. It is produced by the Center for History and New Media of George Mason University (GMU). According to the Zotero website: "Zotero is the only research tool that automatically senses content, allowing you to add it to your personal library with a single click.
